Insurance

At Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery we participate with most major medical and dental insurance carriers. We work closely with you and your insurance company to ensure that the claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner and that you receive the appropriate coverage for our services.

If we participate with your plan, we will file the claim for you. At the time of service, you are responsible for:

• Co-pays/co-insurance
• Non-covered services
• Deductibles 

If we do not participate with your insurance plan, we will still file a claim to your insurance for you. However, you remain financially responsible for all charges incurred. Note: We do not file claims with liability/accident insurance carriers.

Written authorization must be obtained from your employer before treating a Workers Compensation injury. Claims for work related injuries are sent to the insurance company or your employer. If not covered by insurance, you agree to be responsible for the balance due for the services rendered.
